ISN GO Forthcoming deadlines

Dear Colleague,

This is a reminder of the forthcoming deadlines for the ISN Global Outreach programs.

We would be very grateful if you could try to encourage applications in your region by disseminating the information to your network of contacts.
All application forms for these programs can be downloaded from the ISN GO section on the ISN website or can also be obtained by contacting the ISN office.

30 September 2011 => Sister Renal Center Program

The ISN SRC Program aims at enhancing the practice of nephrology in the developing world by linking emerging renal units with established centers of excellence in the developed world. It nurtures a partnership between 2 centers by supplying a framework and several benefits which depend on the level status within the program.
The benefits are all products of synergized efforts between all other ISN-GO programs, activities and overall strategies (fellowships, trainings, journal subscriptions, travel grants...).
The application process will be open sometime around mid-august 2011 and there are around 10 available places at the entry level. Should you be interested in applying, please contact Samantha Rens in the ISN office.

1st October 2011 => Research & Prevention Program

In the context of its call for proposals on "Noncommunicable chronic disease prevention programs in developing countries", the R&P committee can provide seed funding (up to 15,000 USD) for a number of projects awarded on a competitive basis in two rounds every year. The next deadline is on 1st October.

December 15 2011 => Fellowship Program

The ISN GO Fellowship Program promotes and helps educate physicians from emerging countries.
Through partnerships with regional societies, ISN is now encouraging regional fellowships too, helping ISN Fellows train in their own regions rather than in Europe, the United States or Australia. There are two application deadlines a year: June 15 and December 15. Download the Fellowship Booklet here.
